The band is made up of police officers and staff as well as non police civilians. You don’t have to be a Police Officer to join the band, band members come from all walks of life and we are lucky to have a diverse and friendly makeup. Currently serving are a trainee Chef, A Master Kilt maker and a full time student. Members consist of those who have never played any instrument and are currently learning right through to experienced competition pipers and drummers.

Practice Place & Time

Band practice is held each Wednesday from 7PM at the driving school classrooms, Police training centre, Aerodrome Road, Hendon. We sometimes practice on a Sunday when preparing for a performance / parade. If you wish to come along you can either drop in and say hello or alternatively a lot of new members prefer to send an email to Sashi@espipeband.com and he will arrange a contact to meet you.
