The majority of members are serving officers from the Met ranking from PSCO’s to a Superintendant. You don’t have to be a Police Officer to join the band, band members come from all walks of life and we are lucky to have a diverse and friendly makeup. Currently serving are a trainee Chef, A Master Kilt maker and a full time student. Members consist of those who have never played any instrument and are currently learning right through to experienced competition pipers and drummers.

Practice Place & Time

Currently band pracice is held each sunday between 10AM - 2PM at the driving school classrooms in the Police training centre, Aerodrome Road, Hendon. If you wish to come along you can either drop in and say hello or alternatively a lot of new members prefer to send an email to Sashi@espipeband.com and he will arrange a contact to meet you.
